Consimity

I was invited by Minna Partanen to participate in the development and perfomance of her theatre show, with the question of how we could integrate modern tech into the show.

Early on in our talks we came up with the idea of having an avatar for her to react to within the performance. Because the budget is quite limited I had to come up with a quick way of creating a digital avatar that also looked good and had enough expressiveness.

I realised in that moment that my iPhone has this kind of system build in, I let Minna create the avatar right then and there and thus stefanie was born.

In the next few weeks I managed to use Apple's private framework to isolate the Memoji into a seperate app that could be displayed during the performance.

Furthermore I helped during the development of the project with various technical things such as, setting up a network for all the technical support to communicate on, and also helping manage the digital chatter.
